Shell appoints Gyro to its global DM rosterShell International Petroleum has appointed Gyro International to its global direct marketing roster following a six-way pitch against undisclosed agencies.

Gyro International will be tasked to develop Shell’s marketing activity around its global retail loyalty programme, designed to bolster engagement with its 12 million members.

A sophisticated and creative CRM programme is already said to be in development by Gyro International to target the global fuel-buying public.

Matt Kitcherside, general manager of Gyro International London, said: “This is a fantastic win for Gyro and working with such a prestigious brand has generated a real buzz in the agency. We’re looking forward to working with Shell to deliver increased loyalty among their customers and to deliver maximum return to their bottom line.”
