Campaign of the week: SEATSEAT

This week we look at SEAT’s new DM Pack from Geronimo. This compact leaflet showcases the SEAT offers throughout the range, using the tagline, ‘Unleash your driving passion’.

The pack has a picture of a SEAT and a road on it with a tab which tells you to ‘lift and rip’ along the road. Inside is the pamphlet which page by page tells you about SEAT’s new offers on some of the most popular summer models. The Ibiza, Leon, Altea and the Altea XL. The exotically named, Alhambra also gets a mention.

The cars are illustrated not photographed which has given the mailer a more creative approach at illustrating their offers. The retro colours and artistry is in keeping with their new image which intends to attract a younger customer. A city-scape backdrop adds a sense of bringing the exotic and continental to the city. It also makes the tables of facts a little less standard to look at.

FiatThe intro inside expects that’s the people who like SEAT will be lively active people. Already this will consolidate their brand image, and attract younger owners. Using emotive words like, ‘exciting’, ‘heart pumping’ and ‘sate-of-the-art’ all give the pack a sense of urgency and excitement which may will people to read on.

It is colourful and retro, but nothing out of the ordinary which would make someone take their eyes off their cereal or morning paper. The offers are presented in tables, which are fairly straight forward but the lay out may seem boring and over complicated. SEAT owners will like it, and the retro feel is bound to attract the target audience, but it’s a little messy in its presentation of information.
